At Limerence Gate
By: Pochemu on
Through Limerence' gate, I must now wait
as the pain has only started
For I never choose, to whom I lose
my wits so well regarded
A hundred girls will pass me by
and none of them ever catch my eye
Until I meet one and almost by fate
She pulls me right through, Limerence' gate
On the other side, seen far and wide
is a lush forest field
With flowers and bees, a strong sense of ease
but to her it must be yield
For this journey transitional, is very conditional
And i'm smitten without a shield
Broken minded and broken hearted,
not either feeling can be withparted,
I'm swept under the rug, without even a hug
and hidden in the basement
"Why must you?" I ask, she looks down and laughs
at me, her shameful embarrassment
