The Beast and the Incel
By: Anonymous onpreamble: this text is written under a note i have on narratives i think would be cool in a video game that exists in my head. it was originally meant to be about an npc arc, but it turned into allegory. my writing style is typically to myself, but this one developed into a monologue to a secondary party. you the reader are not the target of this monologue.
think of it this way. if a dog is sentient while its in the cage as you are asking the doctor if euthanasia hurts, what would it feel?
“hurts??? is my life merely a reflection of your ego? must you use me to make you yourself not hurt? two faced liar!”
and what if this dog in a desperate attempt to live, attacks them? the doctor and the owner would cry:
“feral beast! you DESERVE your death!”, while this dog tries to live, the one thing that is guaranteed in life? this is the basis for the beasts narrative. in the beasts eyes, it is justified. everything else not only conspires to kill it, but they reduce its dignity as a sentient being to NOTHING as they feast at the table it provided for them, only to backstab it. they reduce it to something incapable of reason or dignity. only an object. the heartless hypocrites. and so you the player meet this beast. and it in turn is not a beast, just a normal npc. a man that looks like a savage beast. it breathes heavily. it gazes menacingly. its drool is corrosive and oozes through your fear. and its not kind, either. why must devs always make the bad looking guys kind, in a way that says “well life has to ascribe to my ideals. obviously, if everybody is inherently equal, there must be something to balance out!” no, normalfag, we do not have to have the entirely of the basis for our lives, our beings, ascribe to your half-thought ideals, in your arrogance. this beastly looking man is an asshole. its easy to hate him. to detest him. in fact the point is to detest him. but will you be as conceited as the doctor who looked down at this man he was to kill with apathy? as the beast master who pleaded “dont hurt him” yet strived to give him the greatest of pain, death? its your choice. from my perspective as a developer, the correct choice is to base your action on your will. even if you kill him. give him the dignity he deserves. but. as if that makes him think of you any differently. as if that makes you different from the beast master or the doctor. it doesnt. you are the same. you convince yourself the same as they did. if you choose to let him live, implying the hierarchy where you completely and utterly dominate him, where his will doesnt matter, itself being the same situation just this time you in your hypocrisy think yourself God, can choose to let him live. even if you do, you are no different. you do not treat him with dignity. you take his life in your own hands, and unilaterally believe your will to be objectively correct, the same as the beast master and the doctor. just this time you give him the platform for life. thats the only difference. dignity matters like nothing here. you are as hypocritical as the other two. but. the one difference is the only difference that matters in the world. everything is rendered null before life and death. honour. dignity. love. compassion. courage. beauty. all worth nothing before life. in doing this, you the hypocrite are the most compassionate in the world. even if you hypocritically believe yourself arbitrarily capable of rendering judgement, as an absolute lord, and both his life and death mean the same thing to you, in the greatest act of mercy you chose the 1 over the 0. no difference between them, of course. but. even if it made no difference to you. THIS IS ALTRUISM. of two options that are the exact same outcome to you, you chose the benevolent one. that is one of the highest acts of altruism. this is a Godly act of altruism. You, You, You.
get it now? the point im trying to make? in reading this you never once thought of what the beast thinks. do you understand, hypocrite? this is allegory for the “incel”. to be mistreated. to have your dignity stomped. to have the entire world look at you with scorn, in their contempt, in their misplaced hypocrisy. and in the end incels are worth nothing. do you not see your folly now, in your infinite conceit? arrogance? hypocrisy? of course you dont. that incel will never be given his dues. he will never have comeuppance. he will never have that dignity back. not unless you have your conceit revoked. your arrogance diluted. your hypocrisy realized. and who will change in a hierarchy of power? the 8 billion? or the one? the beast master and the doctor? or the savage beast? its the powerless who have to change for the powerful. the beast WILL be arbitrarily judged; life or death matters not. the incel will remain the incel, regardless of what he says and wills. only if the entire order of the majority changes will things truly change. but the npc beast will never overpower you the judge, in the real world. this is the limitation of technology after all. the beast will never have the power to truly change fate. this is what is most important, in the end. POWER. what all men desire. what normalfags are so scared of if the incel gets. because this is the one only thing that can truly change things. to change that hierarchy of power where they at the top of their thrones say is “merely a result of being a good human being”, as if reality must ascribe to their whims of what constitutes “good” or “bad”. when in reality this is a facade to legitimize their power. reason? screw reason. the beast will want and will will to live. even if that life is unreasonable. even if enkidu is feared. even if the world itself will deride the beast for wanting to live, the beast will reject the world and all its values: “love, courage, honour, equality, compassion, justice” and it will smear them, and act with “hatred, cowardice, dishonour, predjudice, indifference, injustice”, and will continue to reject them in its strive for only ONE thing, that ONE thing as opposed to the millions of things everybody else expects, no, DESERVES to have. and this one thing that is unacceptable for the beast to have? life. similarly, the incel will unreasonably want power. thats the one thing the powerful dont want incels to have after all. and THATS what scares these people at the top of their thrones, behind their layers of facade. because in narcissism they can convince themselves all their actions are justified in that power hierarchy where they are the ones calling the shots 100% of the time. but for that action to come from an outside source? that is what scares them. the only thing that scares these kings. and that is the only thing that can be done for the beast. for the incel. everything else is moot in comparison for the outcasts. the dysgenic. the pariahs. let the unreasonable triumph over the reasonable. let hate triumph over love. let the intolerable triumph over the tolerable. the uneducated over the educated. cowardice over courage. ugly over beauty. all these worldly ideals… that are only used by the powerful to control the beast. the incel. these ideals are meaningless. ideals are meaningless before reality. and its the desperate beast, the desperate incel that are the most grounded in reality. the strong will do as they will, the weak will do as they must. and when the world derides the weak for seeking strength in its vain attempt to upkeep the lie of the flame? the weak must find that strength out of religious duty. thats what make them men.
